How can Electron Green afford to install a solar system for free?
Our business model is based on revenue from selling electricity to the company occupying a building. This is how we recoup our investment in the solar PV.
How do I know you will keep the system working?
Our revenue is from selling electricity. If the system is inefficient or isn’t working, our business cannot operate either. We install top quality equipment and maintain the solar system at our cost for 25 years. Our objectives and yours are completely aligned.
Are there any up-front costs?
There is no capital investment required from you. Customers pay only for the electricity they use from the solar PV. All solar construction and maintenance costs are covered by Electron Green.
Who is eligible for the free-of-charge system and low-cost electricity?
At no charge to you, Electron Green will assess the suitability of your roof for a free solar system. We’ll take in to account other elements – such as any lease – and let you know within days whether your property qualifies.
Will this impact my current electric utility account and service?
Rooftop solar installations are typically connected to the local utility grid; we are not taking buildings “off-grid.” The solar system will operate during daylight hours and you will be using it ‘live’. Your current utility connection will remain to supplement the solar during the day and then for use in non-daylight hours. Customers’ existing utility accounts will remain intact.
How will the process be managed?
The entire process will be managed by Electron Green. Most solar work takes place on the roof, in electrical rooms, and outside your operating space.
How much impact will the solar have?
Solar is a proven technology that will produce power for decades. Regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and scheduled cleanings will keep the system running well. Any issues will be sent promptly to Electron Green via our remote monitoring system.
